MARQUIS ASHLEY

Marquis grew up in Spokane, WA and came to faith in Christ at the age of 17 through an invitation to a small group Bible study and hearing the gospel proclaimed at a Christian concert. After high school, Marquis completed 4 years of biblical studies at Moody Bible Institute, Calvary Chapel Bible College and Calvary Spokane while working as a student ministry intern. He has recorded and toured nationally with major label and indie label bands, and has traveled on 15 mission trips to Russia, Mexico and Canada, all while keeping his feet, and his family, firmly planted in the local church. Marquis is so grateful and honored that God has allowed him to work in church ministry since 2000. Serving as a pastor, worship leader and in student ministries for 25 years has been a joy for him and his family.

Marquis has a big heart for small group Bible study, raising up the next generation of godly musicians and for church-planting, but his primary goal is to help others know Jesus, have a biblical worldview and live out a lifestyle of worship - loving God, loving others and making disciples. He and his wife Allison were married in 2003 and they have three amazing kids who love the Lord, love people and have served alongside them in worship, production and kids ministry over the years. Marquis enjoys family walks, songwriting, designing and building things, fast internet, anything chocolate-peanut butter & naps.
